La compa\u00f1\u00eda ha establecido un exhaustivo proceso de certificaci\u00f3n para verificar que se genera un m\u00e1ximo de 0,7 toneladas de emisiones equivalentes de CO2 por tonelada de acero en la GreenerTower, a la vez que mantienen las mismas propiedades y calidad del acero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;La energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica es una de las piedras angulares de la transici\u00f3n verde. Con m\u00e1s de 600 GW de nueva capacidad instalada en todo el mundo en los pr\u00f3ximos cinco a\u00f1os, es muy importante introducir soluciones para reducir la huella de carbono de los aerogeneradores. Nuestro proyecto para avanzar en este terreno con acero m\u00e1s ecol\u00f3gico es una de esas soluciones. Con el lanzamiento de GreenerTower, Siemens Gamesa lidera los esfuerzos para impulsar a\u00fan m\u00e1s la circularidad en el sector e\u00f3lico y las emisiones netas cero&#8221;, afirma Maximilian Schnippering, responsable de Sostenibilidad de Siemens Gamesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La empresa alemana de fabricaci\u00f3n de acero Salzgitter AG, con su planta de planchas macizas Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH, es el primer proveedor que consigue esta calificaci\u00f3n, que incluye la certificaci\u00f3n por parte de terceros de las emisiones equivalentes de CO2. El proceso para producir acero m\u00e1s ecol\u00f3gico implica un mayor uso de chatarra de acero, procesos de fabricaci\u00f3n de acero con menor consumo energ\u00e9tico y un mayor uso de fuentes de energ\u00eda renovables. Una de las medidas para descarbonizar la producci\u00f3n de acero consiste, por ejemplo, en la utilizaci\u00f3n de electricidad verde procedente de proyectos e\u00f3licos marinos para abastecer el horno el\u00e9ctrico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta nueva torre se podr\u00e1 utilizar en turbinas e\u00f3licas terrestres y marinas para proyectos que se instalen a partir del a\u00f1o 2024. Ya se ha cerrado el primer pedido de la GreenerTower. En concreto, RWE y Siemens Gamesa han acordado utilizar diez Greener Towers en el proyecto de energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica marina Thor, de 1.000 MW, en Dinamarca. En total, est\u00e1 previsto instalar 72 aerogeneradores marinos SG 14-236 DD a partir de 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la actualidad, la producci\u00f3n de torres representa m\u00e1s de un tercio de todas las emisiones de CO2 relacionadas con los aerogeneradores.
