El proyecto impulsar\u00e1 la estrategia de descarbonizaci\u00f3n del gobierno de Queensland y movilizar\u00e1 inversiones totales de 1.000 millones de euros. La mayor parte de las inversiones se concentrar\u00e1 en 2022 y 2023.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Acciona ha alcanzado un acuerdo con CleanCo, la reci\u00e9n creada utility estatal renovable de Queensland, que participar\u00e1 en el proyecto como propietaria de un parque e\u00f3lico de 100 MW dentro del complejo. Adem\u00e1s, CleanCo adquirir\u00e1 la producci\u00f3n anual de 400 MW a ACCIONA durante diez a\u00f1os a trav\u00e9s de un contrato de compra de energ\u00eda (PPA por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s).<\/p>\n<p>Acciona \u00faltima acuerdos adicionales de suministro con clientes privados as\u00ed como la posible incorporaci\u00f3n al proyecto de otros socios inversores para la construcci\u00f3n de los 926 MW en propiedad.<br \/>El inicio de construcci\u00f3n de MacIntyre est\u00e1 fijado a mediados de 2021, con una entrada en operaci\u00f3n gradual por bloques que asegure la conexi\u00f3n a la red con plenas garant\u00edas t\u00e9cnicas para el sistema el\u00e9ctrico estatal, al tiempo que optimiza el retorno de la inversi\u00f3n. El proyecto incluye el tendido de 64 kil\u00f3metros de l\u00edneas el\u00e9ctricas para conectar el complejo e\u00f3lico a la red. La totalidad del complejo MacIntyre estar\u00e1 operativo en 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Los 1.026 MW de MacIntyre generar\u00e1n electricidad limpia para abastecer alrededor de 700.000 hogares y evitar\u00e1n la emisi\u00f3n de cerca de 3 millones de toneladas de CO2. Al mejorar el mix el\u00e9ctrico de Queensland, el complejo MacIntyre contribuir\u00e1 a los compromisos de descarbonizaci\u00f3n del estado australiano y a su estrategia de mitigaci\u00f3n del cambio clim\u00e1tico. La envergadura del proyecto MacIntyre le sit\u00faa como uno de los mayores parques e\u00f3licos del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>El complejo estar\u00e1 formado por 180 turbinas Nordex Delta 4000 de 5,7 MW, la \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n de turbinas lanzada por el fabricante alem\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto MacIntyre generar\u00e1 hasta 400 empleos durante su construcci\u00f3n y una inversi\u00f3n local estimada de 265 millones de euros, lo que supondr\u00e1 un importante impulso para la econom\u00eda regional.<\/p>\n<p>Acciona, dentro de su compromiso con las sociedades en las que desarrolla su actividad, abrir\u00e1 un di\u00e1logo con las comunidades locales para establecer un programa de acci\u00f3n social que canalice su apoyo financiero a iniciativas de inter\u00e9s comunitario y formaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La divisi\u00f3n de Energ\u00eda de Acciona ha desarrollado y construido y actualmente opera parques e\u00f3licos que abastecen de energ\u00eda limpia a m\u00e1s de 285.000 hogares al a\u00f1o en Australia. La compa\u00f1\u00eda cuenta con una capacidad instalada de 437 MW que se distribuye en Mt. Gellibrand (132 MW, Victoria), Waubra (192 MW, Victoria), Cathedral Rocks (64 MW, South Australia) y Gunning (47 MW, New South Wales).
