Con una potencia sin precedentes en la industria -que puede llegar hasta los 15 MW gracias a la funci\u00f3n Power Boost -, un rotor de 222 metros de di\u00e1metro, palas de 108 metros de longitud y una asombrosa superficie de barrido de 39.000 m2, Siemens Gamesa marca un referente en un sector caracterizado por su constante evoluci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Proporcionar energ\u00eda limpia de forma segura y sostenible es la base de todo lo que hacemos. El nuevo aerogenerador SG 14-222 DD es un producto global que nos permite dar un paso de gigante hacia la protecci\u00f3n y preservaci\u00f3n de nuestro planeta. Nuestra compa\u00f1\u00eda es neutra en carbono desde finales de 2019 y estamos trabajando para cumplir nuestro ambicioso objetivo de tener cero emisiones netas de CO2 para 2050. Con una flota instalada de m\u00e1s de 100 GW, tanto en tierra como en mar, conseguimos evitar la emisi\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 260 millones de toneladas de CO2 cada a\u00f1o&#8221;, afirma Markus Tacke, CEO de Siemens Gamesa.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, Andreas Nauen, CEO de Offshore en Siemens Gamesa, a\u00f1ade: &#8220;La industria e\u00f3lica marina est\u00e1 en nuestro ADN. Hace ya casi 30 a\u00f1os que instalamos el primer parque offshore del mundo y desde entonces seguimos trabajando para mejorar el rendimiento de esta industria, minimizar los riesgos tecnol\u00f3gicos y aumentar su competitividad. La SG 14-222 DD demuestra nuestra apuesta por liderar el camino hacia un mundo impulsado por energ\u00eda limpia&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Cada turbina de este nuevo modelo evitar\u00e1 la emisi\u00f3n de 1,4 millones de toneladas de CO2 a lo largo de sus 25 a\u00f1os de vida \u00fatil y proporcionar\u00e1 energ\u00eda suficiente como para abastecer a unos 18.000 hogares europeos cada a\u00f1o. De hecho, un parque offshore compuesto por 30 aerogeneradores SG 14-222 DD servir\u00eda para cubrir el consumo anual de electricidad de una ciudad con una poblaci\u00f3n similar a la de Bilbao.<\/p>\n<p>El nuevo aerogenerador est\u00e1 equipado con un rotor de 222 metros de di\u00e1metro. Cada una de sus tres palas de 108 metros de longitud es tan larga como un campo de f\u00fatbol. A pesar de su gran tama\u00f1o, estas palas se funden en una sola pieza utilizando tecnolog\u00edas de palas patentadas de Siemens Gamesa. El aumento en el tama\u00f1o del rotor permite un incremento del 25% en la producci\u00f3n anual de energ\u00eda en comparaci\u00f3n con el modelo anterior, el SG 11.0-200 DD.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la compa\u00f1\u00eda ha aligerado el peso de la nacelle hasta las 500 toneladas. Esto le permite aumentar su competitividad , reducir los costes en materiales y en necesidades de transporte, as\u00ed como utilizar una torre y cimentaci\u00f3n optimizadas frente a aerogeneradores m\u00e1s pesados.<\/p>\n<p>La \u00faltima incorporaci\u00f3n a la cartera de producto offshore de Siemens Gamesase aprovecha la experiencia y tecnolog\u00eda ya probada de las cinco generaciones anteriores de productos direct drive. Desde su lanzamiento en 2011, Siemens Gamesa ha instalado m\u00e1s de 1.000 aerogeneradores offshore con esta tecnolog\u00eda en los principales mercados mundiales: Reino Unido, Alemania, Dinamarca, Holanda, B\u00e9lgica o Taiw\u00e1n, entre otros.
