El SF6, un gas comunmente utilizado en equipos el\u00e9ctricos de alta tensi\u00f3n por sus propiedades aislantes y de extinci\u00f3n de arco, tiene un potente efecto invernadero.Este hist\u00f3rico acuerdo permitir\u00e1 a las compa\u00f1\u00edas el\u00e9ctricas acelerar la reducci\u00f3n de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Hitachi ABB Power Grids Ltd. y la filial Grid Solutions de GE Renewable Energy (que cotiza en la Bolsa de Nueva York como GE) han anunciado un acuerdo de licencias cruzadas, no exclusivo, relativo al uso de un gas alternativo al hexafluoruro de azufre (SF6) empleado en equipos de alta tensi\u00f3n. Esta mezcla de gas basada en fluoronitrilo tiene un impacto medioambiental significativamente m\u00e1s reducido al del SF6.<\/p>\n<p>En virtud de este historico acuerdo entre dos l\u00edderes globales en tecnolog\u00edas del sector de la energ\u00eda, anunciado justo antes del D\u00eda de la Tierra 2021, ambas compa\u00f1\u00edas compartir\u00e1n propiedad intelectual complementaria relativa a sus respectivas soluciones sin SF6. Esto contribuir\u00e1 a acelerar el uso de gas de aislamiento y extinci\u00f3n de arco basado en fluoronitrilo en equipos de alta tensi\u00f3n, como una alternativa ecoeficiente al SF6. Un <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/aeeolica.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/c_2020_6635_es.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">informe reciente de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea<\/a><\/strong> concluye que las mezclas de gas basadas en fluoronitrilo, podr\u00edan ser la \u00fanica alternativa al gas de aislamiento y extinci\u00f3n de arco SF6 cuando se dispone de un espacio limitado.<\/p>\n<p>El hist\u00f3rico acuerdo firmado allana el camino hacia una soluci\u00f3n sin SF6 para equipos de alta tensi\u00f3n durante los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os, que permitir\u00eda a las compa\u00f1\u00edas el\u00e9ctricas e industrias acelerar la reducci\u00f3n de sus emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero, adem\u00e1s de facilitar la planificaci\u00f3n, la explotaci\u00f3n y el mantenimiento de sus redes mediante servicios estandarizados y el uso de los mismos equipos auxiliares.<\/p>\n<p>Durante casi medio siglo, el SF6 ha sido el gas utilizado mayoritariamente en la transmisi\u00f3n y distribuci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica debido a sus propiedades f\u00edsicas \u00fanicas. No obstante, es un gas de efecto invernadero que contribuye al calentamiento global significativamente en caso de fugas.
