La compa\u00f1\u00eda empez\u00f3 el desarrollo de este sistema en 2020 para ofrecer al mercado una alternativa fiable y m\u00e1s eficiente respecto a los sistemas di\u00e9sel encargados de pivotar la nacelle sobre la torre cuando hay condiciones de viento fuertes y el aerogenerador se encuentra desconectado de la red el\u00e9ctrica por cortes de energ\u00eda ocasionados por la climatolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El sistema est\u00e1 compuesto por un convertidor de frecuencia junto con un stack de bater\u00edas que proveen de energ\u00eda al aerogenerador para que pueda resistir las inclemencias meteorol\u00f3gicas que suelen darse en alta mar, manteni\u00e9ndose alineado el rotor a la direcci\u00f3n del viento. Se minimizan as\u00ed las fuerzas que act\u00faan sobre las palas y la estructura, evitando posibles aver\u00edas y da\u00f1os importantes en los componentes del aerogenerador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se trata de una soluci\u00f3n sostenible que garantiza una respuesta instant\u00e1nea en condiciones meteorol\u00f3gicas adversas, con el fin de reducir las tensiones mec\u00e1nicas del aerogenerador mediante la alimentaci\u00f3n directa del <em>Yaw Backup System<\/em>, manteniendo as\u00ed la seguridad de todos sus componentes y evitando p\u00e9rdidas econ\u00f3micas. Adem\u00e1s, el <em>Yaw Backup System<\/em> tambi\u00e9n proporciona una fuente de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica de emergencia para soportar cargas esenciales como control y comunicaciones, entre otros sistemas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos sistemas se utilizan tambi\u00e9n en parques situados en zonas afectadas por tifones y otras condiciones clim\u00e1ticas adversas. Sin embargo, el incremento del tama\u00f1o de los aerogeneradores en offshore hace que estos son cada vez m\u00e1s sensibles por las cargas soportadas y en esta aplicaci\u00f3n soluciones como el <em>Yaw Backup System<\/em> se hacen imprescindibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Concretamente, este proyecto ubicado en Reino Unido ha recibido e instalado ya las primeras unidades de este sistema desarrollado por Ingeteam, haci\u00e9ndolo un proyecto coherente y alineado con la misi\u00f3n de generar energ\u00eda limpia al prescindir de mec\u00e1nicas impulsadas por combustibles f\u00f3siles.
