Su puerto base estar\u00e1 en Bremerhaven (Alemania)<\/li><li>Este barco ofrece nuevos est\u00e1ndares en t\u00e9rminos de seguridad laboral, protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente y eficiencia<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Siemens Gamesa est\u00e1 profundamente comprometida con la sostenibilidad. Para ello, se ha fijado el ambicioso objetivo de alcanzar las emisiones netas cero en 2040, incluidas las emisiones producidas por toda su cadena de valor.<br><br>As\u00ed, la compa\u00f1\u00eda sigue dando pasos para este futuro sostenible con un nuevo barco para el mantenimiento de proyectos e\u00f3licos marinos: el REM Energy, equipado con tecnolog\u00eda de propulsi\u00f3n respetuosa con el medio ambiente. El buque est\u00e1 preparado para poder funcionar con bater\u00edas de hasta 12 MW que reducen la demanda de energ\u00eda durante su funcionamiento, as\u00ed como con hidr\u00f3geno verde. No obstante, hasta que se establezca una infraestructura de hidr\u00f3geno verde en Alemania, el barco funcionar\u00e1 con generadores di\u00e9sel eficientes.<br><br>El REM Energy tiene una eslora de casi 90 metros y una manga de unos 20 metros. Este barco ser\u00e1 el lugar de trabajo de hasta 75 t\u00e9cnicos de servicios offshore y 24 miembros de la tripulaci\u00f3n.<br><br>&#8220;El REM Energy establece nuevos est\u00e1ndares en t\u00e9rminos de seguridad laboral, protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente y eficiencia&#8221;, afirma Stephan Hauhs, Director General de Siemens Gamesa en Bremerhaven. &#8220;Con este nuevo buque optimizaremos el servicio para nuestros clientes, ya que aumenta la disponibilidad de los aerogeneradores offshore, reduciendo as\u00ed el coste de la electricidad y garantizando m\u00e1s energ\u00eda limpia, al tiempo que aumentamos la seguridad de nuestros t\u00e9cnicos de servicio&#8221;.<br><br><strong>Impulsamos un futuro \u201ccero emisiones\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Nos estamos preparando para reducir nuestras emisiones en las operaciones de servicio offshore. La puesta en marcha del REM Energy pone de manifiesto la disponibilidad de tecnolog\u00eda limpia para operar sin emisiones&#8221;, coment\u00f3 Jonas Pagh Jensen, especialista en sostenibilidad de Siemens Gamesa, y a\u00f1adi\u00f3: &#8220;Los gobiernos, la industria y los inversores necesitan asociarse r\u00e1pidamente para poner en marcha una infraestructura de hidr\u00f3geno verde que facilite la descarbonizaci\u00f3n del tr\u00e1fico mar\u00edtimo&#8221;.<br><br>El tr\u00e1fico mar\u00edtimo mundial genera m\u00e1s de 900 millones de toneladas de emisiones de CO2, m\u00e1s de las emisiones de toda Alemania, pero es un sector dif\u00edcil de electrificar. El hidr\u00f3geno verde y otros combustibles basados en la producci\u00f3n renovable son clave para reducir las emisiones. Siemens Gamesa est\u00e1 liderando el camino para iniciar una revoluci\u00f3n del hidr\u00f3geno verde con el proyecto piloto Brande Hydrogen y el desarrollo de una soluci\u00f3n innovadora que integra un electrolizador en un aerogenerador e\u00f3lico marino. Siemens Gamesa logr\u00f3 la neutralidad en carbono en 2019, cinco a\u00f1os antes de lo previsto. Nuestros objetivos clim\u00e1ticos de cara a 2025 han sido verificados por la iniciativa Science Based Target (SBTi) en l\u00ednea con un aumento de 1,5\u00b0C, convirti\u00e9ndose en el primer fabricante de energ\u00edas renovables en conseguirlo. Adem\u00e1s, la empresa ha logrado que su consumo el\u00e9ctrico proceda al 100% de fuentes renovables.<br><br><strong>Est\u00e1ndares de seguridad reforzados<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El barco cuenta con propulsores capaces de girar 360 grados alrededor del eje vertical, lo que le permite navegar con mayor seguridad entre los aerogeneradores. Dispone tambi\u00e9n de una pasarela que compensa los movimientos del barco por acci\u00f3n de las olas y permite a los t\u00e9cnicos trasladarse con seguridad desde el barco hasta el aerogenerador offshore. Los t\u00e9cnicos de servicio vivir\u00e1n a bordo y trabajar\u00e1n por turnos. La tripulaci\u00f3n de Siemens Gamesa rotar\u00e1 cada 14 d\u00edas, mientras que el propio REM Energy podr\u00e1 operar en el mar durante m\u00e1s de un mes antes de tener que volver a puerto.<br><br>El astillero noruego Green Yard Kleven entreg\u00f3 este barco el 3 de diciembre. Siemens Gamesa ha fletado el REM Energy por 4 a\u00f1os.
