Madrid, on January 2, 2018. Wind energy in 2017 was the second technology in the Spanish energy system. The 23 GW wind farms have produced more than 47 TWh, which has accounted for 19.2% of the electricity consumed nationwide in the year. Once again, wind energy has behaved in a stable manner, providing practically the same electricity compared to the previous year.
